Hello and sorry for the late response, been away for quite a while. About my Samurai, it is a 1992 (1st year of the fuel injection) Motor and drive train wise it is pretty stock except for the tires. I am running 205-70-15 vs the stock 195-75-15. This only means my tires are a little wider than stock and the same overall diameter. Also my Samurai has just over 46,000 original miles and has had a good life. The problem people have with the power issue I think comes from them putting on oversize tires and wheels. The bigger the tire, the more power it takes to get them going.
saw you post that your sami goes 80 easy on the highway. I have been reading the forums for a while and am going to buy a sami but everyone keeps saying theirs only go 50-65. what year do you have? and are you running stock wheels and suspension? or did you mod your sami so you could get some extra power?
