Default Nixion's Garage in Joplin MO

Hey guys I really need a place to vent so I thought I'd fill you in on what's been up this last year so on March 4th I got a really sweet 1994 Suzuki Sidekick 4dr 1.6lt 16v awesome vehicle very clean look's brand new previous owner said the engine was rebuilt the year before by a reputable local shop and that with good care it would run forever... my wife fell in love... well about 2 days after getting the car i drove into town to get it all legal and noticed a major power loss so I took it to Nixion's Garage and asked them to check it out they told me to leave it and they would call as soon as they knew something, after about 4 days I still hadn't heard from them so I went to see what's going on with my car they had completely disassembled my engine and told me that the valves were screwed and that I owed them $600 and that it would cost $1300 to fix it at this point the car was already disassembled so I told them it was BS that they pulled everything apart leaving me no real choice but to have them fix it.. I told them to get it done and they said it shouldn't take too long so I called and stopped by 3 times a week in march, april, may and then finally on june 27th at a cost of $1680 they said it was done I picked up the car it ran pretty good... thought ok now we're ready to roll. got it home and it started blowing blue white smoke so I called them up and let them know.. at this point I felt obligated to go back to them because the said they would Guarantee their work I was told by RICK NIXION the owner that he personally would come pick up the car the next day after calling everyday for two weeks they finally picked it up well after all that I thought this can't get any worse till now... today they finally told me the car is done and ready I went to pick it up and on my way home which is only 10 mi from the shop I make it about 5 mi and I start loosing power then the car just dies now the car cranks over and try's to start but just putters and dies and I had to get it towed I'm at a total loss I don't even know where to begin to try to get this right and to top it all off i spent in total over $2500 and this is our only mode of transportation so we have been without a car for month's now and with winter starting I'm about to loose my mind... So please if you live in this area DON'T go to this shop they will screw you and leave you bleeding in the gutter
If it doesn't fit, use a hammer.
If it breaks, it needed to be replaced anyway.

The answer is never trust anyone with the name Nixon (former crook president). Sorry to hear about your hassle, possibly a used low mile complete engine might be the answer, try Hawk Enterprises dba Strictly Suzuki @ 1.888. samurai.

And take Nixon to small claims court to recoup all the money lost while he tried to figure out how a repair needs to be made.
