Default Vitara GV2000 (2003) not starting - stranded Mid-Altantic!!

Hello all. I'm hoping someone can provide me with assistance.

I moved from the UK to the Azores eighteen months ago and brought my 2003 Vitara GV2000 with manual g/box with me. A few months ago it started idling roughly, was hesitant on acceleration and had high fuel consumption. I carried out some continuity, resistance and voltage checks and found the pre-cat O2 sensor had failed. Replaced it and tried starting the engine. However the immobiliser light on dash is flashing and engine doesn't start. I contacted Tracks of Exeter in UK the main suzuki dealer who supplied the car and was told the immobiliser has dropped its key recognition and would have to be reprogrammed (not just the key but the immobiliser unit).
As there's no suzuki dealer here on the island I'm stuck unless there is any equipment I can obtain to reprogramme said immobiliser or as there's no car theft here on the island is there any way I can bypass the immobiliser?
Your help would be much appreciated.
Best regards
