Default HELP -- info on installing inline pump tracker

If you read my other post below --- "Inline high pressure fuel pump," you'll see the reason for this post.

If you have a new or used pump that would fit a 95 Tracker, laying under the bench, please pull it out and suck on the fuel line outlet (not the return line) to see if you can easily draw air through it. I did try that with an 89 Caravan pump I have and it drew easily. Yesterday I was up in my other garage and tried it on a Hummer H3 pump I had laying there and no way could I suck any air through it, so an external inline pump would definitely not work on that one.

Or -- if you have actually installed an inline on a tracker or similar, with the old pump still in the tank, please let me know if it works.
Thank you,
Smiley
