Default Tracking Devices

Can anyone comment about 3rd party 3g gps devices specially trackimo. My friends suggested it to me to put inside my car incase it gets stolen. But I really don't know the quality of this product some says it's good some says it's bad. So I'm hoping you guys could shed some light unto me of these kind of gps trackers.

PS. I'm new here. Hope I don't get Barbecued.

I've got a TrackR device. It's gps and bluetooth. Big point is that you can change the battery yourself. Its alternative the Tile has to be sent to the manufacturers to be exchanged.

Ok so the Trackr seems to be useful but it's probably not going to be as good as a dealer installed one. Then again it's about 20 quid on EBay. Do look at YouTube as it explains the crowd sourcing location thing really well.

I think it's a good cheap alternative.
