Default Suzuki Kizashi Unveiled at Frankfurt - Wow!

SUZUKIPHILE - Suzuki Unveils Kizashi Concept at Frankfurt

There was no press release to accompany the unveil, but Suzuki has a special website for the car HERE . Great photo gallery of the car from all angles up at Autoblog (source of photo below). Oh, and I am loving the 5-door psuedo-wagon look. Very slick!

Default Austrailian Suzuki Importer Provides Information on Kizashi-based D-Segment Car

Austrailian Suzuki Importer Provides Information on Kizashi-based D-Segment Car

General manager Keith Carroll of Queensland, Australia's Suzuki importer, Suzuki Auto Co., had the following to say regarding the Kizashi concept. His company places orders for Suzuki cars years in advance, so its his job to know what is coming down the pipeline:

In December 2009, Suzuki's new D segment, medium-sized family car will be launched. The sedan concept debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show this week as the Kizashi. Carroll said we could expect to see the Kizashi on our roads in January 2010, but not necessarily with that name.

"The designers were given a goal of creating BMW 3 Series but at an average man's price," he said. "I believe they will come out with something outstanding."

The sedan will be available first with a 2.4-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, followed by a 3.6-litre V6.
