Talking Radio beeping

Hey, My friend owns an 04 forenza and I told her I would help her out in finding the solution to her beeping radio.

So she says when she turns the car on the radio beeps, but not threw the speakers as you would think, but that actual console or behind it. Not much information but if you have any questions I'll get back to you.

Thanks

I have an '02 C230 Kompressor and the radio beeps once about every 15 seconds or so and then shuts off for awhile. Sometimes when it comes back on it's fine, others it does the same routine again.
