Default Sub and Amp installation

So a few months ago I installed an Alpine CDE-103BT head unit and recently acquired a Bazooka 500W amp and an MTX Audio Thunder 4500 (675W) sub and enclosure. I have absolutely no idea where to start as far as which types of wires to buy and what kinds of other cables and such I might need for an install.

Thanks in advance,
Aric

I would go to the factory page for the amp and see what the lowest gauge you can go for your wires on your amp and then with the installation you'll just need to to run the RCA and the Remote wires from your head unit to the amp itself, and the power wire from the battery to the amp (mine went through the firewall and down underneath the carpet to the hatch)

Usually people try to make it too complicated thats why I traded my brain in for a T1 Texas Instruments Calculator I can do three things graph geometric shapes, think of easy answers and piss people off for being over simplistic

I am going to install a sub in my Forenza this weekend.. I was wondering where exactly you passed the power cable through the firewall..

I see a grommet that lets the wire for the hood latch passthrough.. my initial thought was to make a slit in that and run the power cable..

Do you know of a better route?

Thank you in advance.

theres a grommet near the center of the engine bay when u open the hood its in the upper section kinda hard to explain but its to the left of the brake booster thats where i ran my 0/1gauge power wire thru. Sorry not a clear pic but if u see the brake fluid resivor look behind that to the firewall u see the brake booster and to the left of that is a lil grommet poke that and u have clear access to the inside of your car.
