Default Speakers

I don't know much about cars, at all. I have an 08 Reno and evidently after only a year and half of owning my car I have blown out all my speakers on the left side of my car. I want to replace them obviously, but I have ABSOLUTELY no idea what size speakers I need. I don't even know if I need other things like a subwoofer or a tweeter (I think that is what I saw, I'm not sure).

hello and welcome to the forum. If you want to replace your speakers for the 08 reno the sizes are as following front doors are 6 1/2inch with a 3/4inch tweeter in the door handle area, and for the rear doors its 5 1/4inch with 3/4inch tweeters in the door handle area. Your best bet is to go to your local audio shop or best buy and check out their speakers their are some brands better than others but it comes down to how the speakers sound to your own ears and what is in your budget, you might also want to replace your factory radio too perhaps later on down the road. The speakers you want to look at are called coaxial speakers meaning they have the tweeter mounted to the woofer of the speaker there for you can have the 3/4inch tweeters in the doors disconnected when you replace each door speaker. Hope this helps if you have any more questions feel free to ask.
