Default speaker size

the stock speakers in my 04 Forenza just died last night on my way home for work dose any one know what size speakers the forenza came with? i started looking on the internet and got sizes ranging from 5 3/4'' to 6 7/8'' i really dont want to rip off the door panels just to measure the seakers

Hi Pitsnipe,
THey are 6 1/2 inch in the front and 5 1/4 inch in the rear.
Thats standard size, although I know you can squeeze 6 1/2 inch speakers in the rear doors, provided you use and adaptor or spacer.

hey man do what i did and put 6x9's on the pacel shelf

iv got pics on the forum somewhere but its so much better and it is really easy to do....just extend ur back door wires to the shelf and cut some holes into it for the 6x9's

so much louder and it sounds awesome
