I have had my 05 AERIO SX for about 9 months now, and love it still, with no problems at all. My question is does anyone know how to replace the factory subwoofer with an aftermarket one? I haven't dug into it yet, but can you hook up an aftermarket amp and sub without having to cut any of the factory wires or disconnect anything else? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't try to replace you can take it out to find out that the speaker just a reg 6x9. Just get yourself a nice aftermarket system or replace the speaker to something with more guts like http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Polk-6-x-9-...roductDetail.do

Then you may find yourself upgrading your head unit for better control and sound after that your OEM speakers may go out and need to replace those to with something else. Hay it's always a snow ball effect when it comes down to it. It's just comes down to what can YOU afford and what YOU want in it.
