Default For sale. Rings FRIED

I can't fix the rings, the job is too big for my setup.

I don't want to give this semi classic car to the pick a part...

Everything works except the rings, here is a link to the work done;

the car has no rust and has been kept up with oil changes, brake jobs, shocks and ball joint lube. I suspect the rings were damaged at 70k miles when I bought it and I have kept it alive until 140k miles, until they finally just sheared apart. The cylinder walls look scratched and it can't hold compression.

If anyone wants a parts car I will sell it for whatever the pick a part offers me.

Portland location, just reply if you want. I know pick a part wont offer much so you could get a sweet parts car or a sweet new car if you can fix the rings yourself for virtually no money. I Know some people on this site live in Portland and are real mechanics.

Calling pick a part today

Help me keep this 90s treasure out of the landfill

Current problem:

Driving 75mph on freeway, after gunning the engine to pass someone, the tracker cut out and hasn't started since.......:eek:
