Default Parting out 93 Sidekick 4 door auto 4wd JLX 16V NE OHIO

THIS VEHICLE IS SOLD

Hi All

Parting out my 93 16V 4 door Sidekick. If there is enough interest in the parts- or sell entire vehicle .

It has a 16V motor with 120K miles, runs fine, does not burn oil, has a new water pump and timing belt and timing cover- also replaced intake manifold gasket . Does not have AC. Power is a little soft but I am sure it needs the valves adjusted. HAs an oil leak somewhere. Also has a new alternator.

Have brand new fuel module in tank.

Has stock chrome wheels and relatively new truck tires M/S.

Windshield has a stone chip. Rest of glass is AOK

Frame is staring to rust just behind front wheel on driver side.I welded a plate over it.

The body has plenty of rust on the bottom edges, gas door, etc.

If there is enough interest in the parts I will take it apart, I drive it on the weekends and it runs fine. I am looking to get $800 for the wholel thing if anyone is interested,

I have no idea how to tell what gears are in the front/rear axles or the transfer case, it has a 3 speed auto with electric OD. Whatever came in it stock is what it has. i know the hubs require that you back up 6 feet when you disengage the 4WD which I have always done. The 4WD works fine .

Interior is in pretty good shape. cloth buckets in front and cloth split fold down bench in the back.

So if there is any interest in the engine, transmission, transfer case , front and rear diffs or the whole thing etc let me know.

Great little truck but rust is getting to it and it needs to go. This vehicle passed an Ohio e-check in March of last year. I also just replaced the tranny cooler lines.
Does not have air conditioning. Stock radio with cassette

I am looking to sell the whole truck first, I will let you know if I decide to part out

If I could sell the engine, trans , transfer case and rear end, and wheels/tires (which are pretty new) I would part it out .

Thanks

Where are you located? Do you think it would make it to Toledo under it's own power.

Yes it will get to Toledo .

Do you plan to take it apart ? If you plan to drive it every day I would lok at the control arms etc as they are rusty. But it runs great.

I forgot to add that I am on the East side of Cleveland. Wouldn't hesitateto drive it to Toledo. A few months ago I drove it about 2 hours from home and back, probably a 5 hour trip. Tledo is about 2.5 hours down I-80. No big deal
