1989 Suzuki Swift GL - 2BR Hatchback
Interior: Light Grey
2 Door Hatchback
Pioneer Stereo incl. Tape Deck and 7 Speaker sound system.
Transmission: Manual (5 Speed)
14” Mag wheels and a second set of 4x 13” rims (original steel rims without tires)
K&N Air Filter
A lot of newer parts replaced in 2007:
>Brakes – Master Cylinder, Rear Wheel Cylinders, Front Rotors and Pads, Rear Drums and Shoes
>Wheel bearings Front and Rear
>Front Tires – Michelin X1’s (Still lots of rubber and kept in a parkade – not sun exposed)
Was interested in doing a full restoration on this car; however, at this point, I don’t have a garage and won’t in the foreseeable future. For someone who is interested in collecting and restoring vehicles, this is a nice little gem. It also gets better gas mileage than a lot of your newer cars. Everything on the car works. There is some rusting behind the front wheels and in front of the rear wheels.
I am the second owner and purchased in 1993 with 55,000km. Engine was rebuilt in 2007 and only 15,000km put on since that time. Will mention that the head gasket needs replacement as I believe that the current gasket may have been defective. (a new replacement gasket comes with the sale of the car)
