Default will the newer 4th gen 3.6L actuators bolt onto the 3rd gen camshafts?

I have a 2007 Suzuki XL7 with stretched timing chains. Its the earlier model of 2007 with roller chains used for the secondary left/right banks, NOT the newer 4th generation indented tooth (IT) now used on all three.

My question is...can I purchase the newer cloyes timing chain kit 9-0753S as seen below.....

http://www.cloyes.com/Portals/10/New...06-26/HFV6.pdf

....AND buy four new 4th generation actuators that now come with the IT teeth on them and swap out my 3rd generation roller chain actuators? will they bolt right onto the existing camshafts? will the camshaft positioning sensors detect them correctly? will the VVT solenoids notice any difference?

GM and Suzuki say the idlers are obsolete for the 3rd gen and that I should buy a new motor!!!
