But I can forgive it- they're the stock shocks and I was planning on upgrading the suspension anyway. Guess it's time to do so. I think I'm going to go with the Old Man Emu (OME) kit. It's simple and it's all I need.

I can get it from Petroworks with Gabriel shocks or from Trail Tough with Doetsch Tech 8000 Prerunner shocks. Reading here, it looks like the Doetsch 8000 may be too stiff. However, the Trail Tough kit comes with a drop Pittman and the Petroworks does not. Being new to the Samurai game (but learning fast, by fire! ), I don't have experience with either company.

So... which kit to get?
