Default 2006 Suzuki Swift Idle Problems

I have just bought a 2006 Suzuki Swift 1500cc Automatic for my daughter. When it is cold it idles perfectly but when warm it is idling at over 2000rpm when in park. I also notice that when I am going downhill or coming to slow down for traffic lights the car seems to want to speed up even though the brakes are on. I phoned my mechanic and he seems mystified as to why the car is doing this. Can anyone offer some advice. I am very sad about this at the moment. Thank you.

Check for a vacuum leak!

Alternatively, use a LIVE DATA SCANNER... Report back the FT at idle and 2000rpm.
