Thumbs down 2009 Suzuki Grand Vitara Cuts out when the engine gets to running tempreture.

HI all,

I have a 2009 Suzuki Grand Vitara 1.9 DDiS. When the engine is cold the car will start fine and run for appoximatley 20 minutes. Eventually thought the engine will cut out and the car will not start. There are no engine warning lights on the dash it will literally just stop when the car is idliong i.e when the clutch is depressed. Once the engine has cooled down the car will start fine and run normal until it comes back to temprature.

Currently I am living in Kenya and i have taken it to a couple of garages and it will say it has a fault but wont give me a fault code. One gagage told me it had a ROM failure. It is not the fuel as i thought this was the original problem as a bad batch of fuel was found in the area, but the fuel systm has been drained filter changed etc etc and filled up from a reliable source.

Any help with this matter would be greaty appreciated.

I would be looking to a heat stressed sensor or connection.. Test time..

What you describe is dies when attains "CLOSED LOOP", prior to this happening the ECU uses a matrix, and ignores most sensors..
