Ok i know its a dumb title. Well it didnt take me long to relize that when it come to aftermarket parts for a 2wd GV there are none. I would like to make my 99 Gv look less like and drive less like a High School Cheerleaders car.
I would like to start out with lowering it and putting on some 18 or 19 inch wheels. The wheels arent hard to find but what i need to lower it is.
I would also like to make it faster it is already quicker than i thought it would be. Im thinking a single t25 turbo setup. But i am sorta questioning the ability of the 2.5s internals. I do not think they could hold much boost.
Also I know alot of people are going to ask me whats the point well I want something nobody else has , I have yet to find a turbo 99 GV anywhere if there is one I want to see it lol. If you have any idea where I should start or you can tell me more about the motor i would really like to know Thanks.
What makes you think a turboGV has never been done?
Depending on which part of the world you're in, you can walk in to the Suzuki dealership and buy one - the GV is sold with a turbo diesel, and it's quite popular over in the UK & Europe.
Since what you want to do is put a turbo on your H25, search the forum for a user called TurbineTech and drop him a pm - he's a french canadian guy runs a turbo charging business, I don't know if he's worked with the H25, but memory says he built a TurboTracker a while back
Hey just wanted to give you a website of a guy that has made his '99 GV into a nasty beast and listed all the upgrades, so it's a bit easier to match it, ofcourse he actually also changed the engine to the XL-7 or 06-08 GV type. That is the 2.7L V6. But I am sure that it should give you at least an idea of what may fit. The site is Punisher: 1999 SUZUKI GRAND VITARA TURBO 2.7 413HP - Sioux Falls, South Dakota The nickname for his GV is The Punisher, amazing that he managed to raise the HP from apx 190HP to 413HP with a 1/4 mile at 11.7sec @ 118mph. Well it may help you decide what direction to go in. Good Luck
Thanks for the links , my H25 is in great shape so i will probably just overhaul it and go from there . Oh and i knew about the turbo diesals there not very common is the US though
Nothing like trying to pimp out a car that wasn't meant to be pimped out.
Hell Yea man thats the whole point of doing it. So far that link above is the only other one ive seen. My starting goals are 300-350rwhp since im going to run the stock block.

Wasn't referring to the engine mods, (which are fine by me), was talking about lowering it and putting rims on it. I see a vehicle like that driving down the road and all I can do is shake my head.
