2002 GV 2.0TD ECT Lamp intermittently lighting / circuit diagram for same -RHZ engine

Hi All,

ECT lamp on dash is showing intermittently after startup. Once lit does not go away until engine stop and restart. While lit, after maybe 50 miles, engine goes into "slow mode" and won't rev above 3000. Stopping and waiting 5 minutes usually gets it back to full rev range with no ECT light. Its then pot luck if ECT comes on next time started up. Water temp gauge stays at 1/3 of temp range all the time after warm up, so at least that part of the sensor is working it seems.

Diagnostic using Suzuki EOBD-2 tester/reader shows no P10XX codes, onlya P1561 code which repair shop didn't know what it was!

Engine is really a Peugeot/Citroen DW10ATED HDI diesel - RHZ.

Suzuki SG420WD manual is suggested by local dealer but that copy found on Yahoo! Briefcase site only shows non-intercooled engine and wiring diagrams.

Unable to find the diagnostic socket as stated in SG420WD manual.

I think that there is a later copy of this manual which covers this engine with a different wiring diagram, does any one else out there know of it or whetre to get a copy?
