How do you reset tire press monitor on 2007 grand vitara

Hi just wondering if anyone has had to reset the tire pressure monitoring system on a 2007 grand vitara.

Check your tire pressure first. If any tire is low on air, just adjusting it can turn the light off. If not you'll need a TPMS resetting tool. Can be done at the dealer or can be done with a generic resetting tool that covers Suzuki models. No reset button or battery disconnecting trick to do it.

heres the proper procedure on resetting tpms.
1. turn on the ignition, with the engine off
2. apply parking brake
3. using driver information center (DIC), show "RELEARN TIRE POSITION"
( The horn will sound twice, and the "TIRE LEARNING ACTIVE" message will display
4. starting with front lh tire, decrease tire pressure and wait for a horn chip
5. after the horn chirp, proceed for the next sensors in the following order: front rh-rear rh-rear lh.
after rear lh sensor has been learned, turn off the ignition to exit the learning mode.
6. after the lear mode has been exited, adjust all tire pressures to recommended psi.

You're thinking of the 2007+ XL7, that's using a GM system. The Grand Vitara is a totally different setup. With the GV, set all the tire pressures to spec (I prefer 5psi over, to compensate for any temperature fluctuation...so that'll be 37psi in all four). Once they're all set, take it for a drive. If the tire pressure warning lamp doesn't turn off within a few miles, you'll need to have the dealer look at it. Being a 2007, I would guess you'd still be under warranty, so no worries...just make sure you've tried to set the tires to pressure first so you don't look like an idiot taking it to the dealer just to set your tire pressure. (c'mon people, just buy a pressure gauge!)
PS. The spare does not have a pressure sensor, so you're just needing to set the four main tires.
