Default ac problem

2001 GV 160Km LI NY area
Got the 25A AC fuse blown and I dont have the schematic to see why.
Does any1 know why?
replaced the fuse and am back in business

It's obviously a short or current overload that blew the fuse. Having followed your A/C probs to date, it's hard to pin point the cause.

I'd look for any bare / exposed wires, and conduct an eval of pressures and sight glass condition. If nothing looks out of sort AND the latest fuse holds, I wouldn't worry too much at this point.

Default A/C Failure

My 2002 XL-7 continuously blew the 25A fuse. I was told by several mechanics that it was the condenser; however, one intelligent (honest) mechanic identified that it was actually the fan blowing the fuse. He disconnected the plug to the fan, installed a new fuse, and the A/C worked. I, then, got a new fan from the dealer and had this mechanic install in less than one hour. Hope this helps.
