2006 Grand Vitara Emission Control Light

Hi, i was driving through a a rainning day on a pot hole with water and after that my emission control light show up on my dash box. The owner's manual said to contact the dealer. I call and they said the light will go off after a few days. It's already 2 days and still got the light on the das box. But the car was running fine. Any recommendations? Thanks

Give it another a day or two. Start and stop engine cycles is the key. The computer will re-set if all is OK w/the vehicle. If it doesn't go out then...dealer / warrantee work it is!
