Cargo Door Won't Open

Hi Team, my 2000 GV's cargo door is acting like it's locked when it isn't and I can't open the door.

Does anyone know if I can remove the inside panel with the door closed?

Is there any other way to get access the internals of the lock with the door closed?

Hi, Yes pretty sur you can undo the trim from inside, but before doing that does your door handle stay stuck(doesn't come back) if so. Push it back, and unlock it and try again. Already had that problem. The pins rusted and the handle doesn't come back. Needs to be disasemble and well greased
