Default Grand Vitara Relay

Hello everyone. I have 4 12v relays in my fuse box under the dash. I believe one of these relays are bad. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement relay? Im stationed overseas, and having problems finding one.

My relay says..." 12V 156700-2080. Made by Denso. It has four pins.

2001 Vitara.

Thanks a million for your help.

I can't get those numbers to bring up anything.

Can you tell us the FUNCTION of this relay? We might be able to better help you narrow down the search.

Or you can contact Denso directly from their international site...
DENSO CORPORATION

Default vitara relay

It started a while back... There was a loud buzzing noise from the fuse box. I finally pulled this relay and it stopped. The DRL still work, but the instrument panel no longer comes on by itself. I have to switch it on manually after dark. Also, My truck started missing a little bit while driving exactally 60km an hour. Also... My Cd player errors out now. It all started happening at the same time, and I'm sure these things are related.

Oh man. Too hard for my brain.

Can you take a PIC of the one you relay pulled (empty space) in relation to the other three? I can compare it to the Service Manual maybe.

Even then, there is no guarantee that replacing the relay will fix ALL the probs. THE prob may be causing the relay to buzz from the get go!
