Default Fog Light Hole Removal

They don't "punch out" along some perforated line or anything like that right? Is that a dremel tool operation?
I've heard comments about having to take off the whole front bumper cover for that, I guess I am not too excited about that idea...
When running wires into the cab to mount a rocker switch, do you pull them through somewhere in the firewall then? Is it possible to route the wires through ACC function somehow, so if I left the switch on my battery wouldn't drain?
Lots of questions in one place, but I know you guys can help!

Pleases and Thank Yous in advance

I had to drill out a small hole in the firewall of my xl-7 to run wires for my radio gear. You could do the same. For the light control, I would run them off a relay, and control the relay with a switch. I would run the switch power for the relay from the marker lights. That way, you could leave the switch on, and the lights would come on with the markers and/or headlights.

Regards,

Ivan

What year is your GV?

Later models were pre wired for the fog light kit, the switch plug is behind the blank on the dash and the relay and the remainder of the wiring connected to the harness out at the fuse box.

To cut out the blanks in the bumber, I just used a utility knife

Cheers,

Tim
