Talking LED Replacement Bulbs

I really like the idea of these in my 03 Grand Vitara. I would like to replace all the exterior lights and dome lights with LEDs. I live in Minnesota where it can get down to -30F plus in the winter, 110F plus in the summer. Can they tollerate those extremes?
I like the fact that they don't generate heat, are much brighting, and live about a million years longer than standard Sylvania-type replacements.
Thanks in advance for all the help!

I've done leds in dash and they do burn out. Try your local china town. Theyll have or can order what you need. Problem. The small leds are on a long stem. If it wont fit you may have to run a seprate power line into your cluster to activate led. Or if you have a way with soider you can make shift a one off.

I will be getting the kind which are already fixed to the standard bulb-ends. They should be a perfect match. My main concern was the temperature extremes, since we have 150F spread throughout the year. I'd sure hate to be driving at night durning a blizzard and have the lights go out!

I just thought of something. Did your car signal that a turn signal went out because LEDs use less power? I'm not sure if my 2003 GV will do that due to the LEDs lower power consumption.

Here's what the website states:

"LED bulbs may cause some newer vehicles to indicate a turn signal bulb is burnt out (because of their low power consumption). Some cars indicate this by increasing the flash rate of the turn signals, some do not flash at all. This can be remedied with load resistors wired across the turn signal bulbs to simulate a filament bulb load. Not all cars or aplications require this, but if your car is displaying some of the above symptoms you probably need load resistors. "

true. They sometimes do weird things. In my GN I put front turn signal and parking lights leds and had to change the flasher to electronic type and still when I put my lights on, I get a tiny bit of beedback and both turn signal arrows are slightly lit.. lol

So, in other words: LED Flashers are not a good idea without resistors?
