Cool Questions for xl7s in "real" winter conditions only

Please ignore this thread unless you drive an XL7 in colder climates only (-35celcius or about -30F)

My Xl7 does not come with floor vents for the front row, and as a result my legs got pretty chilly during our "chilly" Canadian winter. Is there anything I can do to supplement heat (or a/c in the summer) to the front. I know those useless "snorkel" vents that channel heat to the second row sorta work, but what can I do? I'm thinking about those 12v "supplemental heating" units that you can buy, but is there a permanent solution?

By the way, my XL7 has the 3rd row seating but did not come equipped with the rear hvac unit.

Thanks in advance

BTW- all XL7's have front heat vents.. and the 3rd row is ac only.. not heat. HVAC means heat, ventilation, air conditioning
