Thumbs up

On my 2004 Epica, the automatic Heater/Air-circulation display is way too bright and the dimmer will not turn it down. Any one else find this annoying? Or is it only the Epica that is having this problem? It really is unsafe during night driving, interfering with the night vision.
The dealer claims all Epica’s do it so it must be normal?

I have noticed this too, and although it is quite annoying I find the passenger side "airbag status indicator" and the clock to be just as bothersome while driving after twilight as these aren't hooked up to the dimmer either.

This bothered me about my Verona as well, until I decided to do something about it. When I had my windows tinted, I asked if they could tint the climate control display at the same time. They just used a scrap of window tint from my window tint job. You can't tell anything has been done to it at all, and It's now the perfect brightness (day or night); they didn't even charge me any more money to do it. I've almost forgotten it was ever a problem.
