Oil Type for a 2004 Verona

Hey Everyone -

My son just recently got a used 2004 Suzuki Verona. Its time to change the oil, and there was no manual with the car. I'm assuming its going to take 5W-30, but wanted to see if anyone out there could confirm this for me.

Yes I believe it does take 5W30. It also holds 6 liters or so just so you know ahead of time.

My '04 Verona has a 7.2 Qt (US) sump, and yes, 5W-30 is recommended.

Yeah about 7.5 qts according to the dipstick with filter.
TSB said like 6.8 qts.

5W-30 or 10W-40 by TSB. TSB deleted 10W-30 as acceptable. If you understand that one be my guest to explain.

NO NO NO!!!! 5W20!!!!!! You only use heavier weights when this is not available. Thats stuff is way to heavy for this engine! That is what the manual says.
