Default Brake Pedal to the Floor

Hello
In the mornings when I start driving, I notice that the when I try to brake, the pedal will go to the floor and stop gradually. The pedal gets better after a few minutes. GM told me I need back brakes. I replaced brakes and the problem did not go away. I suspect that the booster is faulty. Has anyone else had this issue? If yes, what cost am I looking at.
Thanks

How is the master cylinder fill level? Is the fluid is good condition (is it dark/black, or a nice beer color?)

I would suggest trying to bleed the brake system before installing a new master cylinder.

Hi Jeff
I did bleed the brake lines and I saw no difference. The problem is there usually in the morning. Works fine during the day. That's why I thought maybe the booster leaked air or something.
Thanks

Default Brakes

I noticed a similar problem when i changed my brakes out. You will notice that on the front of the break cylinder, there is a bank with 6 metal tubes running out of it. There are four that run from the top of that bank. Each of the four goes to a seperate wheel. There is some trick out there that includes cracking each of those nuts open and bleeding it from there but I dont dare suggest you do that yourself. For $25, you can go to les schwab and have them do it.
