Default Why don't they issue a recall on the rear control arm?

That's what it turned out to be on my '04 Verona (out of warranty of course). Thanks for the tip EWETHO, after only 47K miles, something like that shouldn't go bad. Seems like a engineering/design fault, Should I expect the other side to go?

Can't answer that one. So far I have not seen one fail other than to cause NOISE!!! Hve not found anything on the car while inspecting it just persistence originally and then knowing what I have found after removing the control arm. Most are still Tight Mechanically just TOO tight. I am sure it would eventually fail but not seen one make it that far.

I have only replace like 1 left one and a bunch or rights. I suspect salt on the right side being the cause.
