Rear Suspension/Stabilizer

My 2004 Epica stated making a screeching noise on the right rear end. I tarcked the noise down to an arm that goes from frame to the rear wheel. I am not sure of the name of the part (ie: stabilizer, sway, torsion, ect). Where it is connected to the wheel, the part is U-shaped. At the frame, the part fits into the bracket with a bolt going thru. It sounds to me as if the bushing is worn. My question is, does anyone know the correct name of part and, can the bushing be replace, or do I need the whole part?

Sounds like either the the rear lower control arm or trailing arm. However before condemning this part unless you can verify it pull the upper control arm off and see if the upper control arm spherical bearings have corroded and are seizing. This has been VERY VERY common in the rust belt. Almost ALWAYS the root cause of rear end noise from sounding like a bushing screech (rub) or even all the way to a clunk noise. When new the bearings a stiff but smooth to the hand if they are seized or loose start there!!!
