Throttle body and warranty woes

Hello everyone. I have a 2004 Suzuki Verona. I was having some troubles with it, so I took it in to the dealer to have them take a look. They're saying the throttle body needs to be replaced. They are further saying that this is not covered by the Powertrain warranty. Is this accurate, or are they just trying to screw me?

Your up a creek but not your dealers fault.
The throttle is not under warranty past 3/36.

Mainly internal lubricated parts and gaskets and drive axle bearings. External controls are not covered. Sorry.
