Removing Factory Cd Player Unit

I have a really nice alpine cd player i'm trying to intstall myself, I can get a dash kit from walmart that seem's to be the right size. I glanced around a couple time's and can only find to very small slot's on both side's roughly to where you insert a disk. I'm wondering if this is where you insert the tool's for removing the faceplate as well as the cd player? Also are there any other bolt's i'm going to need to remove?

I own a 2006 verona and i have recently replaced the factory deck with a new sony one. its very easy to take out. you first need to take off the "wood" surround. it just pulls off. there you will see 4 screws holding the factory deck inplace just remove those and your on your way.
