locked ignition
the car will unlock the key will go in, it beeps so the key is recognized, the steering wheel is locked, key wont budge, not even an inch. Any ideas?

got it, had to get violent with it. mashed the key into the ignition, it unlocked, still it aint right to have to do that.

Seen numerous ignition cylinders and housings fail requiring replacement of both.

Its a bad ignition switch, i had to get mine replaced.Mine would lock up atlease twice a week..Call Suzuki, they covered the bill on mine

Happend to my 04 Verona as well. Mine was not covered and I paid around $400 to have a new ignition cylindar installed.
