Default Verona stereos

Does anyone know how to take the panels off to get factory stereo out?

It's very easy, please use a flat screw driver to insert into one corner of the wooden looking cover and take it out...it is very loosen

Another point on this before I decide on what to buy before taking the dash apart.

Crutchfield says it will only take a single DIN chassis, but I know I have seen the Verona with a Kenwood double DIN touch display. The latter would be better for looks...

Default Stereo out...

I`m also interested in removing stereo. I have dubble kenwood CD/Radio/Tape.
Does anybody knows does it have ISO connector, and is it problem connecting steering wheel commands with some other audio sistem?

Is the procedure same for front panel?

I know Crutchfield carries IR repeaters that wire directly into the steering wheel controls.
