I've been hearing problems with oil consumption, faulty airbag, faulty engien head design and computer bugs... are they fixed from the 2006 Verona's?

I have never got such phenomenon on my Magnus L6 2.5 in Vietnam but have to admit that the fule consump is quite high vs, Toyota Camry with the same engine. was this caused by 4 speed AT?

NOT FIXED!!!!!!!!!!

Stay away...FAR AWAY from this car. The problems are endless. For 06 they got rid of the ls and lt and badge the car ltz.

Here are some...

check engine comes on at random times
tranny is messed up...hard shifting from 1-2-1
for a v6 it has weak pick up...slow to accelerate
seat takes half an hour to heat up

just stay away...if not you'll wanna shoot yourself in the nuts.

V6? While I can't disagree the Verona has multiple issues, the INLINE 6 was perhaps the smoothest running engine in any car, minus a Lexus, that I've driven. I owned a 2005 model and the only trouble we had with the car was a faulty strut mount and the left rear strut always coming loose. Sometimes the car would idle funny. For 155 hp I thought it had plenty of get up and go and did quite well on fuel economy on hwy trips. I could get 33 mpg on the highway, but city/hwy combined was not so good around 20 mpg. Overall it was an extremely smooth car and I wouldn't mind owning one again as a daily driver but they are not worth what people as asking for them, considering the issues they've had. Avoid 2004 models like the plaque.
