Yes I commented on that last year...VERY annoying......you have to make an extended clearing of snow at top of door opening and even when you see none, there is a chance some is left. Of course same on passenger side. THis is "special" on that car as I've had no other car where this phenomenon is so pervasive and elusive.
Keep cleaning and open door VERY slowly....there is a chance you can spare the snow fall on the seat....and in last resort...you have to live with it...
P.S.: it does not happen in summer nor in FLorida........

Haha I am somewhat kidding, really not a big deal...just funny given the millions spent designing the vehicle it is perfectly set up to dump snow in your car every time

Cool

That became a 'THING' when car doors became part of the roof.
And yes, the only answer is to brush the snow off of that area where the door and the roof meet. Then be ready to also brush the snow off of the seat before you sit down.

Corectomundo....that is not a problem here in Florida or in any tropical climate.
But I didn't always live here and I do remember snow on the car seat. Yukkk!

It's one of those things that are so basic, I can't believe we're actually discussing it. It must be a slow news week.

I always think it's interesting to see the different types of topics that get started for different models/generations of cars. For example, on a mazda board I am on, the older/retired model boards will be discussing the relative merits of different turbo setups or which cars you can swap a stronger axle from; the mazda3/mazda6 boards are discussing coilovers and other bolt-ons; and the SUV/crossover boards are ranting about how the LED in the glove box is not bright enough.
