location of fuse box

Hello,

I need to know the exact location of internal fuse box for 2009 SX4 hatchback. The manual is not clear in describing where it is.

The 08 manual shows the internal fuses under the dash to the side of the control pedals Page 9-37. Pain in the neck to get to.

thanks PaulD- In the 09 it says the same thing. So am I to look right up under the dash? I looked and did not see anything that looked like a cover.

In my last car (Mazda) it was hidden behind some of the plastic trim on the door side of the car, which I had to yank off to get to. I wondered if I needed to look behind the plastic trim or something. Thanks !

on my Australian version it is a white cover with a black sticker showing fuse designations below the wiring connectors. It is just out of sight under the dash on the side of the car.
