Silver paint- forming brown splotches

I have a 2008 SUZUKI SX4. Love it, but have a problem. Recently brown splotches have been forming all over the paint surface, worse on the hood, but found everywhere else. I have tried rinsing them off, scrubbing them off, cleaning them off - nothing. Does anyone have any advise? I know SUZUKI isn't going to want to fix the problem so I need to go in prepared to fight. Has this happened to anyone else? Is this something they fix? Thanks!

Is it from a tree? I had some tree stains on a white car, I used a mild solution of bleach, it worked.

Hm, I dunno but I have parked under a sycamore tree before now that you mention it.
