Default keyless start problem

New owner of a Crossover with Touring package. Really like the car so far but have had a problem starting the car with the keyless start once and a while. If I go to start the car , (checking to see the blue key idiot light first) nothing happens as if the battery is dead. When I turn the ignition switch off, some of the idiot lights remain dimly lit. If I put the key in , it still won't start. The only way to start it is to lock the car , then unlock it with the remote. After I do this , the car starts right up but I lost the clock setting and the mileage computer resets. Has anyone had this problem ?

bring it to the dealer, explain the problem, and then try to demonstrate it. they should be able to solve it.

Think I found the problem. The battery cables (both of them ) were extremely loose. This car was an 'Auto Show" car. They said they disconnect the batteries. If they don't , they will drain rapidly from everyone playing with everything. Apparently they never reconnected it before they sold it to me.
I'm glad I found the problem but I wonder about the dealerships quality control.
