Aoawhile is on a distinguished road
Default Can not keep car doors locked on road.

I just bought a new 2008 sx4 crossover touring trim with the "smartpass" keyless entry system. I've found that if I have the keyless fob in my pocket that anyone can get into my car from the outside while I'm stopped for a light or for traffic. All they have to do is hit the small rubber entry button on the handle and open the door. I've tried to lock the doors from the electric lock button inside. I've tried to lock the doors via the fob. The only thing that works is to manually lock each door by hand before driving and that is a pain. I have tried all this while in reverse and drive.

Does anyone have a solution to this, or is there something I'm missing?

I would hate to be in a BAD area and not be able to keep my car doors locked while sitting at a traffic light or stopping for a stop sign.
