I can't help ya on the stick thing, I wont drive one either.
It makes sense though to want the rest time while someone else takes over the driving. Good Luck
Just bought an '08 SX4 Sport sedan 5-speed yesterday...I tell my girlfriend she is going to learn to drive a stick, but she says she won't even try to learn, then says "maybe later"...Would anyone like to share some thoughts on converting an Auto-bound driver to stick-capable? I just want her to be able to take over on a long road trip if need be.
you could always get it up to speed for her and switch seats while driving down hte highway......j/k......I say go to a mall parking lot after hours.....or a school parking lot
I just found this forum & glad to actually see others with a SX4 Crossover. I picked mine up the week of Christmas 07. The 4 wheel drive was handy with our March snow. Just over 7K with mileage around 30mpg without any mods.
I just traded my 05 Reno for the 08 Sedan, Black. I love it. The hatch was to slow and did not feel sporty. With the sedan i got 17 inch rims and a stiffer setup.
Just got the new 08 Sedan yesterday and i am so looking forward to takeing my 600 mile trip early next month traded in a 03 jeep grand cherokee fully loaded heated leather seats (14.2 MPG) and all and picked up this new little sx4 sedan and so far i am happy, i hope that it holds out. i will keep posting to let you all know how it is going.
I have the 08 Crossover touring package manual..all the bells and whistles: 9-speaker premium sound system. added imported mud-flaps all around, and slapped on my Safari roof cage for vacationing. Love it!
Hi. I bought last saturday 16 a new '08 SX4 Sport 4dr Sedan in Vivid Red for my daughter as a graduation present so I will be visiting the forum once in a while.
