Default 98 swift.

hi everyone im new to the forums this is my first tread.

well im 15 and coming up to getting my first car. ive got $1500AUD to spend but i probably can save abit more if i have to.

i know a bloke thats selling his 98 swift for 1500 and it seems to be a really nice car for a first car.

manual
new paint
only afew little dents no rust.

heres some pics:

its still got abit of rego so my dad can drive it home to my place about 1 hour away.

he says its fine starts up every time. its nothing special but it gets the job done easierly.

do you think this is worth it? or should i just keep looking for something abit better?

is there anything wrong with the 98 swifts?

REDBOOK (Car Prices - Search Car Prices & Values Online - Red Book)has the '98 Swift as between $1500 and $3000, depending on model and condition, so it sounds like it's a good deal. Just be careful, as there is very little buyer protection in a private sale.
