Default More power after I did this

I picked up a 94 Metro with 150,000 miles in Fresno Cal. in good shape. It ran OK, but had low compression (150 psi) & gutless. The seller said it had been sitting for about 6mos, so new gas & oil change, but little improvement. Added a small can of "Restore" to the oil. Now I get about 40mpg & pretty good power. Anyone know why such a big improvement? I will check compression & re-post.

It is possible the Restore cleaned carbon deposits from the valves that were sticking from buildup. Check your ignition timing and advanve it to 8-10 degrees BTDC to help prevent carbon buildup.

If the Restore ends up a temporary fix, you might need to replace burnt exhaust valves.

your injector probably had a ton of carbon built up around them and the combustion chamber.. It s not necessarily a burnt exhaust valves. The ignition timing is a good idea, to try.

Minimum compression on a Suzuki G10 or G13 is 156 PSI
