May appologies for the cross posting, however, I need to resolve this issue before the weekend.
My daughter as inherited a Kenwood DV3200 Sat Nav system, I've wired it in and everything works in a fashion. However to work correctly, it requires a connection to the vehicle VSS wire.
Does anyone know where I could find this wire, and the colour code please.
Model is 2005 Swift 1.3 GL ??
OK. Just for the record, I eventually found it.
If anyone else is interested, the VSS sensor is connected to the gearbox, behind the gear linkages, and only just accessable.
It has a snap plug with 3 wires.... Black/red, black/orange and purple.
The purple wire is the VSS wire.
I've included a diagram, It's listed at component number 10, but to be honest, it's a little further round the back than indicated on this pic
