Default 1997 Metro 1.3 excessive fuel

I have a 97 1.3 with 139K miles. One day it started running rough and sounding like it was flooding. I have since changed plugs, rotor, cap, wires, NEW fuel injector, changed out throttle pos switch and just today, another MAP sensor. Prior to this, it ran great. However, I remember a couple of times it did run rough just for a moment and then cleared up. Now its bad all the time. Any more ideas?

have you checked fuel pressure? poss. bad pressure regulator?
does it run rough only at idle? poss. EGR valve?

Thanks, I havent done all that but will try. By the way, is it normal for the fuel to flow freely when the fuel line is disconnected from the TBI? This is without the fuel pump running of course.

With 139K, I would seriously do a compression test on all 4 cylinders. You should have no less than 150 PSI on each.

Compression is 130 across. Not perfect but the car ran great. Its a fuel problem and it acts like its flooding.
