Lightbulb 1989 Metro automatic: 2-4 flash code?

1989 Metro automatic: 2-4 flash code? Thanks much-

I just bought the car for $100.00, pulled the bad motor and had it rebuilt, now it's running great!
Just a few things to address to be happier with it, such as steering vibrations at 60+ MPH, radiator fan not cycling, so had to hard wire it, poor struts, but not too much else!
Thanks -

code 2-4 is vehicle speed sensor. "A fault in this circuit should be indicated only when the vehicle is in motion. Check and repair the speedometer if it is not functioning." Haynes service manual. Post back what you find. Good luck.

Thanks very much Bennie,
Yeah, the speedo doesn't work, but I haven't had time to check it out quite yet. The car runs great, so I figured it was't anything bad.
I'll try to look at the speedo issue ASAP.
For now the car is growing on me! So far so good-
I really appreciate the code lookup!

JM,
Thanks for that list! I tried to search for a list before posting but came up empty. I appreciate it-
