Those may be hard to find as a new part. Did you check a GM dealer by chance to see if they were available?

found the pillar trim pieces for less than 10 bucks a pop, still have NO leads on the hinges or hinge pins and according to what i have found they are specific to the swifts only (dunno why the geos would be different) from 89-94

*ugh*

I tried to get hinge pins as well...the agent here in the Caribbean only sells the hinges complete....cost more than the car is worth!!!
Will have to fabricate some.

I have not found door hinge pins or bushings available anywhere and they are shot on my '91. The local junkyard has a '91 so I'm planning on pulling those hinges to rebuild ASAP and then swapping them in. That will leave me with a spare but worn out set. I might be able to rebuild them for you cheap or just let you know what parts I use and how I fix mine. PM me if you are interested and I'll contact you when I get it done.

That would work if I had a lathe! I went to the local junkyard today and bought the four hinges off of a '91 there for $10. Then I went to Carquest where I found a Motormite #38400 bushing and pin kit. I think these are going to work good. I was able to use a tapered reamer to very slightly enlarge the holes for the new bushings and then I drilled out the other holes...believe it was an 11/32" drill bit I used. So far I have one almost done and it looks like it will be pretty tight!
